## About this form
This guided brief is the first step in finding out whether your trading strategy can be automated. You work through six blocks — market, signal, exclusions, position management, grid or basket, and risk. The basics are required and the advanced settings are optional; anything you leave blank is set by the team with standard values. Every question comes with a short explanation and an example.

You can describe your own strategy from scratch or start from a standard template. Templates are not ready-made, off-the-shelf bots: they are bots with the logic already laid out, which you parametrize around your strategy and review before submitting. They are starting points with no guarantee of results. Once you submit, HermesBot replies on whether the strategy can be automated, what integration it needs and the likely scope.
